HEC in Pakistan and the Tempus Public Foundation in Hungary are in charge of running the initiative. The application must be submitted online by January 16, 2023. Scholarships for Stipendium Hungaricum are offered for
undergraduate degree (after 12 years of education)
Master’s Degree at One Level (after 12 years of education)

HEC Hungaricum Scholarship Covers
- Tuition-free education: exemption from the payment of tuition fee
- Monthly stipend:
- Bachelors and Masters Scholarships: monthly HUF 43,700/- (cca EUR 130) Doctoral level: according to the current Hungarian legislation, monthly HUF 140,000/-(cca EUR 415) for the first phase of education (4 semesters) and HUF 180,000 (cca EUR 530) for the second phase (4 semesters) – for 12 months a year, until completion of studies. - Accommodation: Dormitory place or a contribution of HUF 40,000/month
- Medical insurance: Health care services according to the relevant Hungarian legislation (Act No. 80 of 1997, national health insurance card) and supplementary medical insurance.
Eligibility Criteria for HEC Hungaricum Scholarship
On January 16, 2023, applicants for admission to undergraduate programmes must be between the ages of 18 and 22 years old, while applicants for postgraduate Master’s (18 years) and Ph.D. programmes must not be older than 35 years. On January 16, 2023, the maximum age for PhD programmes for full-time employees of public sector universities, colleges, and R&D firms must be 40 years old.HEC Scholarship for BS MS and PhD
For applications to the Bachelor’s (Undergraduate Program) and One-Tier Master’s degree programmes, the applicant must have completed HSSC/Intermediate or an equivalent qualification. For applications to master’s programmes, candidates must hold a 16-year Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent (Postgraduate Program). How to apply for HEC Hungaricum Scholarship
The Hungarian and HEC websites are the ONLY places where applicants may submit applications. Online applications that are not submitted on BOTH of the websites listed in Steps (1) and (2) will not be processed further. Applications and other documentation don’t need to be submitted in hard copy at first. However, applicants must retain a copy of BOTH application forms, as well as a record of all the filed paperwork (submitted online at HEC & Tempus Public Foundation)

A later step of the selection process will require candidates to provide paper copies (including online application forms filed at the HEC portal with deposit slip and the Tempus Public Foundation portal) as well as attested photocopies of all of the original documents. originals of the police clearance certificate and the medical certificate
