Previously, NDMA Chairman Lt Gen Inam Haider Malik hailed the efforts of the personnel which “operated in the harsh weather circumstances and recovered priceless lives”.

He stated that Turkiye has conveyed its appreciation to the prime minister and the people of Pakistan for their help.

Meanwhile, Chief of Army Staff General Syed Asim Munir paid a visit to the Engineers Division’s headquarters in Rawalpindi, where he praised the “professionalism and excellent work” of the Pakistan Army’s Urban Search and Rescue Team (US&RT) in its recent rescue operations in Turkey and Syria.
